Medical Coverage

Vor Bio offers two comprehensive PPO medical plan options through BCBSMA.

Health Reimbursement Arrangement

Vor Bio covers the first 50% of your deductible for the BCBS $2,000 PPO plan.

Health Savings Account

If covered by the $2,000 PPO Saver Plan, Vor Bio will make a contribution on your behalf (100% of the deductible), and you can make additional contributions, up to IRS limits.

Flexible Spending Account

You may contribute up to $3,400 per year to the Health Care FSA and up to $7,500 per year to the Dependent Care FSA.

Dental and Vision Coverage

Vor Bio offers dental coverage through BCBSMA and vision coverage through Blue 20/20.

Life and Disability

  • Life and AD&D: 2x annual base salary with a maximum benefit of $750,000
  • STD: 60% of earnings up to $3,500/week
  • LTD: 60% of earnings up to $15,000/month, gross up for tax advantage
  • Voluntary Life AD&D: Elect up to $500,000 for yourself and $150,000 for your spouse, and $10,000 for your children

Paid Time Off

  • PTO: “Take It as Participants Need It” PTO program, at least five (5) paid sick days
  • Bonding Leave: Salary and benefit continuation for a total of sixteen (16) weeks, must be employed for at least three consecutive months and provide us with at least two weeks’ notice
  • Observed Holidays: 11 holidays, end-of-year shutdown
