In November, after a long journey, I finally became a bone marrow donor. I wanted to share some insights on what led me to bone marrow donation with the hope that others interested in donating will learn something from my positive experience and that I can help remove some of the doubts and fears that have prevented them from becoming a person who says “yes” to bone marrow donation.

Honestly, I’ve been putting off writing this down for a long time. I’ve played it through my head so many times in the past year, what I would say and how I would say it, the right words to use and emotions to convey.

I was incredibly excited to initiate operations at our state-of-the-art, in-house, clinical manufacturing facility in September, the start of a new chapter at Vor Bio.

It’s a wrap for the Vor Bio 2022 Week of Service! From September 19-23, 2022, Vor Bio employees (Voracians) came together to support a variety of community outreach activities focused on service to others.

Company culture is inevitable. When a group of people spend a significant amount of time together, working and interacting, certain patterns of behavior will eventually become standard practice. However, I believe company culture can be shaped.

If we meet a random stranger and get asked the question, “Who are you?” – how do we respond? The same goes for companies. Vor Bio employees (we call ourselves Voracians) have dedicated years of our lives to building the company.
