Michel Detheux is the Chief Executive Officer of Muna Therapeutics.
Prior to Muna, he served as Founder, President, and CEO of iTeos Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ITOS). He led the company from a research spin-off to a publicly traded clinical-stage entity, raising more than $1.2B and expanding to 180 employees across the US and Europe. Under his leadership, the company also advanced multiple development programs and established significant strategic partnerships, including a $2B collaboration with GSK. He also previously Michel held leadership roles at Ludwig Cancer Research and Euroscreen (now Ogeda). He is the Chair of the Egle Therapeutics Board of Directors.
Dr. Detheux holds a degree of Bio-engineer and a PhD in Biochemistry from Université Catholique de Louvain, and a business certificate from Solvay Business School.
